Man Stashed Coke in His Underpants: Blotter

Evergreen Park police reports, Nov. 7.

A Chicago man admitted to hiding cocaine in his underpants during a recent traffic stop.

Julio Estrada, 32, of the 4300 block of West 83rd Street, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to Evergreen Park reports. Police said he was a passenger in a car stopped near 87th and Rockwell where two other people were arrested.

Estrada is accused of having 1.1 grams of cocaine, the report states. He was in the front seat of a car pulled over at about 5:31 p.m. on Nov. 7. Estrada appeared to be nervous and his leg was stiff as he walked to the rear of the car.

Police said Estrada admitted to having the cocaine stashed in his underwear, the report states.

The driver, Jason Rangel, 28, of the 2100 block of North Avers, Chicago, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, failing to signal and failing to wear a seat belt, the report states. Simon Villa, 25, 8000 block of Kildare, Chicago, was accused of having 4.3 grams of marijuana.
