Stephen Lewis, Neighbor

I have always wanted to be a Journalist. From a very early age I showed a intrest in both national and local politics as well as sports and current events. My parents being aware of my growing love for politics and sports decided to start having the Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribune delivered to the house. Reading the likes of writers such as Jay Mariotti, Mary Mitchell and Rick Telender confirmed my passion for writing and made my decision to pursue Journalism as a career a easy one. In High School (Rich Central High) I started to write for our newspaper. From there I attended both Columbia College and the University of Illinois Chicago. I wrote for both of those school papers and was a on-air host for Columbia College radio station WCRX 88.1fm. I am now a current graduate at DePaul University where I study Broadcast Journalism. I am very excited to be apart of the Patch family.
