Born and raised in the city of Chicago.  Attended Wicker Park Grammar School and Tuley High School (1956).  Graduated from DePaul University in 1960, BSC ,and in 1981 received a Masters in Public Administration . As a member of DePaul's ROTC Program I graduated as a 2nd Lt.  Served 6 months at Fort Benning and Fort Leonard.  After active duty I joined the 1st Bn. 131st Infantry, Illinois National Guard.  Rose to rank of Captain as Headquarters Company Commander.  First memorable job was as a Merchandiser for Montgomery Ward. Best job was with the City of Chicago as a Systems Analyst for the City's Data Center.  Transferred to City's Personned Department and rose to position of Director of Systems and Administration.  Greatest achievement was implementing the data systems for the City's historical Fire and Police Exams. Left the City in 1985 for the State of Illinois Department of Employment Security as a Information Executive. Also worked part-time during that time as an adjunct professor for DePaul U. for 2-3 years teaching "Organizational Behavior" and "Leadership".  Also served as an instructor of "Introduction  to Computers" at Moraine Valley Community College.  Was downsized from the State in 1994 and after a year and a half of unemployment and odd jobs was hired as a Data System analyst for Loyola U.  Retired in 2004.Was active as a community activist at St. Turibius Parish(Southwest Parish Federation) in the 1980's.  Moved to Homer Glen were I organized  and ran HURTS (Homer United To Reform Tax Systems) to reform property tax systems.  Elected as Republican Committeeman in Homer Pct 12.  Served on Homer's Water Committee before leaving Homer in 2006 for Orland Park. Over the years have written and had published numerous letters to the Voice of the People.I married Carol Menygral in 1968 and have two grown children and two grandchildren.  I currently reside in Orland Park, Illinois.
