New Business Owners Urged to Clean Up

Marathon station gets new owners as of Feb. 1 who vow to clean up property

  Two brothers who are the new owners of the Marathon gas station at 3831 W. 95th St. pledged to "clean up the place" when they take the reins Feb. 1. Arif Hussain and Zach Hussain made their vow at Monday's meeting of the Evergreen Park Village Board. About two dozen people were in the audience. Before it came up for a vote and passed unanimously, Mayor James Sexton offered some advice to the new owners. The people are nice at Marathon but it is disgustingly filthy outside & inside. I only but lottery there on way home from church because its quick. It does need scrubbing & painting. Too bad they couldn't expand to the east.   more ›
