Here are some websites and applications that may help you keep your resolutions a little longer into 2013.

The New Year’s resolution is a time-honored tradition. Make the resolve on Dec. 31 and very often the resolution is trashed and a fail by the end of Jan. 1. Northeast Elementary Walks into Springtime

The annual Northeast Walking Club started back up Wednesday. You just may see a large group of kids walking backwards!

For Northeast Elementary School, Springtime means more than sunshine and flowers. As many are seeking to get in shape for the summer or perhaps get back on track with a New Year's resolution, for parents, teachers and kids from the school it means it's time to walk. The Northeast Walking Club kicked off its Spring session Wednesday morning with 30 kids and guest walker Evergreen Park Police Department officer Jeff Butkus. For each session, instead of simply walking a certain number of miles, the group picks a destination to "walk to." This session, "our destination is Hollywood," said Angela Kahn, one of the organizers of the Northeast Walking Club. "It's 2300 miles from our last destination of Disney World in Orlando."
