I was at St. Germaine fish fry on Friday March 2 and had just the opposite experience from yours: tasty deep-fried fish, loads of french fries, cole slaw and applesauce, plus a exellent desert table for a "donation" (the basket was full of $1 bills) My companion had a baked potato, instead of fries, and it was HUGE.
