Evergreen Park Police reports: March 24-25
SUNDAY, MARCH 25 When Evergreen Park Police saw a man run a red light at 4:20 a.m., they ended up finding open alcohol in his car. Police charged Mark D. Matke, 19, of Evergreen Park with disobeying a traffic control device, no proof of insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol. According to reports, Matke was also charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while in possession of marijuana and underage consumption of alcohol. Police responded to a call of a suspicious car at 93rd Street and Kedzie. Avenue, reports said.
