Evergreen Park mayoral challenger Shawn Good’s back is pressed against the ropes in her bid to get her name on the ballot in the upcoming April election. Like many rookie candidates, an objection has been filed against Good’s nominating petitions for not being securely bound when turned into the village and for lacking the proper number of valid signatures. Good is challenging Mayor James Sexton in the upcoming consolidated election. She represented herself before the Village of Evergreen Park’s electoral board on Jan. 10.
