Police are searching for two men who tried to lie their way into the couple's home.
Police are searching for two men involved in a Hickory Hills ruse burglary on March 8 that targeted an elderly couple. One is a 5-foot, 8-inch, heavy-set man with bad teeth who was wearing dark clothes, a reflective vest and a tool belt. The other man had his face covered. They were last seen leaving the area in a white minivan. The elderly couple lives near 94th Street and 77th Avenue in Hickory Hills. The heavy-set man walked up to the couple's door and claimed their neighbor had a basement water leak, police said.
