Famous Dave’s in Evergreen Park reopened Tuesday at 2 p.m. after its grand opening on Monday was interrupted by a car crashing through the front window. The barbecue restaurant at 2851 W. 95th St. will be open for business as usual today though the front of the building is sporting a wooden patch to cover the hole. Repairs are expected to be completed by sometime next week. No one was injured in the incident that happened just a few hours after the eatery opened to the public. Famous Dave’s is the third local business to survive a run-in with a car in recent months.
