How You Can Help Honor A WWII Hero

Do you know a WWII veteran who would like to participate in this year’s Honor Flight Chicago day trip to Washington D.C.?

Honor Flight Chicago needs help in locating WWII veterans for this year’s special one-day trip to Washington, D.C. Since 2008 the program has treated over 4,000 veterans to an honorary day-trip to Washington, D.C., but there’s still over 20,000 local WWII vets who still haven’t had the chance to experience this hard-earned gift of appreciation. This year, five separate flights are scheduled: April 17, May 14, June 12, July 10 and Aug. 7. If you want to make sure more heroes get the honor they deserve, here's a few simple things you can do: Check out the Honor Flight Chicago website for more information and resources.
