Candidates File Petitions for Village Posts

Monday first day to file nominating petitions for April 9, 2013 consolidated election. Sexton, Aparo seek re-election; Bosch not running for Evergreen Park Village Board.

Monday was the first day nominating petitions were being accepted to get on the ballot for the April 9, 2013 consolidated election.  Two incumbents and one new candidate have filed to run for the Evergreen Park Village Board. Trustee Jerry Bosch has decided not to run in the upcoming April elections. Dan McKeown has filed for his seat. Evergreen Park village trustees run at large and are voted for by all residents in the village. The library board has three full-term, six-year vacancies and two, two-year vacancies available.
