Monday was the first day nominating petitions were being accepted to get on the ballot for the April 9, 2013 consolidated election. Two incumbents and one new candidate have filed to run for the Evergreen Park Village Board. Sign up for the Evergreen Patch newsletter and breaking news alerts. James Sexton is seeking re-election as mayor, and Catherine Aparo has filed for re-election as village clerk. Trustee Jerry Bosch has decided not to run in the upcoming April elections. Dan McKeown has filed for his seat. Evergreen Park village trustees run at large and are voted for by all residents in the village. The library board has three full-term, six-year vacancies and two, two-year vacancies available. No one has filed for those positions as…
