Celebrate the Holiday with Christmas Services at Local Places of Worship

If you're looking for a place to reflect on the wonder of Christmas, here's a list of some of the services going on in the village for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

It's the season of love, peace and joy. Here are some houses of worship in Evergreen Park that are offering those things to you and your family.  First United Methodist Church, 9358 S. Homan Ave.   There will be two Christmas Eve services, the first one at 5 p.m. and the second one at 11 p.m. "The 5 o'clock service will be geared more toward children and family," said the Rev. Tim Beil of First United Methodist Church. "Kids will enjoy lots of fun activities and sing Christmas songs. The 11 o'clock service is more traditional with candles and carol singing."
