Photos: Casual Male XL Leveled After Roof Collapse
The Casual Male store on 95th Street was torn down today after its roof collapsed last weekend
The Casual Male XL in Evergreen Park is no more. The building located at 2627 W. 95th Street was leveled Wednesday morning a little over a week after its roof collapsed. On Saturday, Jan. 19 around 1:26 p.m. emergency crews responded to the retailer after reports of a collapse. Investigators are still working to pinpoint an exact cause of the structural failure. Read: Authorities Trying to Determine Cause of Roof Collapse “It was probably fatigue but I’m not an engineer,” Fire Chief Ron Kleinhaus said last week. “That may be a possible cause.” Water and snow have been ruled out as possible causes of the collapse.
