Police: Men Intended to Sell 455 Grams of Pot

Two men were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell to the sell the drug.

Darryl T. Short, 31, of Chicago and Korderro O. Green, 24, of Chicago were arrested on April 21 charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after police reportedly found 455 grams of marijuana in their vehicle. Evergreen Park Police Department plain-clothes officers said the men's vehicle looked suspicious, according to reports, and later observed what appeared to be a drug transaction between their car and another car. During a traffic stop in the 8700 block of Kedzie, the officers searched the car and recovered of baggie of what appeared to be marijuana in plain sight on the floorboard behind the front passenger seat. Police: Man Caught Stealing from Cars

Evergreen Park Police reports: March 8-22.

THURSDAY, MARCH 22 Zachary Bullington, 18, of Evergreen Park was arrested on felony identity theft charges a year after the incident, according to reports. Police say they didn't have the evidence until this year that Bullington used someone's debit card to buy an iPod for $168.49 in 2011. Jackie R. Jackson, 19, of Chicago took eight video games and one pair of shorts from Walmart, 2500 W. 95th St. at about 10:36 a.m., according to police reports. He was arrested on charges of retail theft. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21 Police say Eyeisha D. Barnes, 28, of Chicago took nine items valued at $56.72 from Walmart, 2500 W. 95th St. at about 1:12 p.m. She was charged with retail theft and possession of marijuana after officers reportedly found 4.1 grams …
