Your Guide to Evergreen Park's 4th of July Parade

We're gearing up for the 44th Annual Independence Day Parade in Evergreen Park. Be on the look-out for the Patch Cam. Here are a few details for the day.

The village of Evergreen Park will celebrate Independence Day this evening and we couldn't be more excited! With an expected high of 97 degrees and heat indexes to up to 105 degrees, we're in for a hot day, but temperatures will decrease as the lines up.

The parade route will go from 95th Street and Pulaski Avenue to 91st Street and Richmond Avenue, where the parade will disband.

Some 95th Street businesses will close their doors part of the day, so call ahead before you visit. Look up the business's phone number in our Patch Places Directory.

The village fire department will start the fireworks display at dusk, around 9 p.m. at at the intersection of 92nd Street and Millard Avenue.

We'll be taking photos along the parade route, so make sure you watch out for the Patch Cam!
