Theology on Tap Features Father Brian Welter

Hot topics and cold beer continue Sunday with South Side Theology on Tap at 6:30 p.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Academy's north lawn.

Cold beer and hot topics return Sunday for adults college-aged and in their 20s and 30s. This Sunday, South Side Theology on Tap features Father Brian Welter, who will present "God's Invitation and Our Response." Fr. Welter is a priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago who served as Associate Pastor at St. Elizabeth Seton parish in Orland Hills from 2005 to 2010. Since 2010, he has served as Vocation Director for the Archdiocese. He holds an Engineering degree from Bradley University. After graduation, he worked in construction, building houses for six years. He entered Mundelein Seminary it the Fall of 2000. 

Held at parishes and universities throughout the world, Theology on Tap began in the Chicago area in 1981. Theology on Tap brings those college-aged and in their 20s and 30s into dialogue with questions about faith and meaning. South Side Theology on Tap continues the TOT tradition of offering excellent speakers whose messages resonate with young adults.

South Side Theology on Tap will be held on the north lawn of , located at 93rd Street and Francisco Avenue in Evergreen Park. All adults who are college-aged and in their 20s and 30s are welcome, and there is no cost to attend. Enjoy free dinner, beer, and wine; reconnect with neighbors; and meet new friends.
