Looking for something to do this weekend. Here are some great community events happening Saturday and Sunday.
It’s going to be a beautiful weekend so let’s have one last blast before the kids start school next week. Evergreen Park is hosting some great community events.
- Electronics Recycling Event
- 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, August 18
- Unload your unused electronics at the village-wide electronic recycling event. Take your old computers, TVs, fax machines and other electronics to Yukich Field.
- Summer Concert Series
- 6 p.m. Sunday, August 19
- The curtain falls on Evergreen Park’s FREE summer concert series with a great show featuring the City Lights Orchestra, under the direction of Rich Daniels at
- Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, blankets, refreshments and the insect repellent just in case.
