Growing Through Grief: Music That Soothes The Savage Beast

Growing Through Grief: Music that Soothes the Savage Beast

Most of us have been touched by music.  Whether it was a favorite love song on the radio, a movie score in a scary movie, a rousing march on a parade route, or a celebration at a wedding, music certainly moves our hearts and touches our emotions.

Sunday evening at Bethel Bible Church, we'll be delving into the music that heals broken hearts in our Growing Through Grief class.  Those who've experienced loss often turn to music, in those quiet lonely hours, to get them through a tough time or to lift their spirits when they're down.  Scripture has much to say about music and it's benefit, so we'll be listening to and sharing about the healing power of music.

If you've experienced the loss of someone close to you and feel as though you could benefit from a class like this, you're welcome to join in.  We meet on the third Sunday night of each month, 7pm at Bethel Bible Church, 3225  96 St in Evergreen Park.  You need not be a member nor have even attended our church to participate in this class.
