Watch: Raucous Student Sections Rock McAuley vs. Marist Volleyball Match
More than 2,000 fans packed Mother McAuley's gym, and the students made it one of the loudest atmospheres in high school sports.
The Marist vs. Mother McAuley rivalry lived up to the hype last week. And if the volleyball wasn't entertainment enough, the dueling student sections certainly were worth the price of admission.
It was one of the most raucous high school atmospheres any specator will experience with more than 2,000 people packed inside Mother McAuley's main gym to watch Marist notch a 26-24, 25-18 win.
McAuley's students were loud even during the sophomore match, singing along to popular songs and doing their patented cheers. Marist's students showed up in large numbers for the varsity match and made their presence felt as well.
