Brian Townsend and Brandon White helped the Evergreen Park boys basketball team ring in the new year in style.
The Mustangs won five of eight games in play at two different holiday tournaments.
Townsend led Evergreen Park to a 3-1 record and a third-place finish at the Immaculate Conception. He scored 55 points and grabbed 49 rebounds in four games and was named to the all-tournament team.

White scored 23 points in a Mustang victory over Lincoln-Way Central at the Knights/Warriors Classic. He added 10 points in a win over Lincoln-Way West. And he had 14 steals in earning all-tournament honors.
