The bats were booming.

Evergreen Park thumped Bremen 16-4 in a recent softball game thanks to some powerful hitting. Erin Crane and Tori Senerchia blasted three-run homers for the Mustangs.

Bremen did take a 4-3 lead in the third inning. But Senerchia made sure Evergreen Park took back that lead in the fourth, and the Mustangs didn't look back.

Bremen's pitching staff struggled with its control as the Braves were charged with six wild pitches. In contrast, Evergreen Park's Michelle Putlak pitched a complete game and finished with four strikeouts.
