Finally, "California" baseball tie-breaker rules were put in place. The rules call for each team to begin extra innings with a runner on second base. Each batter starts with a 1-2 count.

Frankfort scored three runs in the sixth and won 3-0.
Evergreen Park coach Mark Ward said, ”It was a great game, no score to the sixth with great pitching."
