Brooke Wyderski and Frankie Rys put Marist in a good position.

Both drove in two runs in the RedHawks' recent 6-4 softball loss to East Suburban Catholic Conference rival Marian Catholic. Marist build a 4-3 leading heading into the seventh inning on the strength of Wyderski and Rys' work.

But the RedHawks were unable to hold on to that lead.
