Gimme 5: Evergreen Park Football's Jackson Ready for Two-Way Action
Jared Jackson will play on both sides of the ball for the Mustang football team as coach Dan Hartman looks to make full use of every weapon in his arsenal.
Victor Baker may have rushed for more than 1,000 yards last year, but Evergreen Park coach Dan Hartman is excited to expand the offense out to his other playmakers.
Jared Jackson is a big part of that plan.
“We have speed at the skill positions that not everyone is blessed with,” Hartman said. “We have five or six guys that are game-breakers.”

Jackson is coming into a much bigger role this year and will play on both sides of the ball. He returns as a defensive back in Evergreen Park's secondary.
The goal for Evergreen Park has been set: get to the playoffs.

"I think the guys have bought in to the goal of six wins and they are excited and hungry,” Hartman said. “This group of seniors has been really good in leading the younger kids along and maintaining focus on the goal.”
