Evergreen Park's Lil' Sluggers Take State Title
The 13-year-old team finished fourth regionally.
The Evergreen Park Athletic Association's 13-year-old boys Little League team recently won the title of state champs, reports the Sun-Times Media.
The teenagers took the title at the state championship game in Woodstock, Ill. From there, they advanced to regionals in Kalamazoo, Mich., where they finished fourth place.
Congratulations to players Matt Fitzpatrick, Connor Cahill, Kevin Healy, Matt Kairis, Jack Altman, Sean Coyle, Sean Quinn, Ryan Demer, Josh Nash, Danny Reynolds and Ben Watkins.
