The Evergreen Park Mustangs racked up another decisive win beating the Shepard Astros, 61-16.
It was hard to believe Friday night that (8-0, 5-0) Evergreen Park had lost its last give outings against Shepard. The (0-8, 0-5) Astros have yet to put a mark in the win column in the 2013 season.
“We got embarrassed over there last year," Coach Dan Hartman told Southown-Star. "It was definitely a motivating factor for us to come out strong tonight.”
The Mustangs hit the road for Burbank for their last game of the regular season against the Reavis Rams next Friday, Oct. 25.
