Evergreen Park Girls Track Places 5th at Oswego East Invitational
Sophomore Rihanna Carson placed second in the 100- and 200-meter dash events to highlight the Mustangs' run to a fifth-place finish at Oswego East on Friday night.
Rianna Carson placed second in two individual events and was one of the leaders on a third-place finishing relay team.
Her work powered the Evergreen Park girls track and field team to a fifth place finish in the Oswego East Invitational on Friday night.
Carson finished second in the 100- and 200-meter dash events. She also teammed with Diamond Williams, Hope Thomas and Monica Falconer for a third-place finish in the 4x100 relay event.

freshman Sierra Riley placed second in the long jump (15-2).
The Mustang JV team was led by sophomore Tyra Smith and sophomore Joanie Nard. Smith won the triple jump event (29-3) and Nard finished first in the long jump (13-4). Freshman Jordan Annang placed third in the JV shot put event with a throw of 27-6.
