Evergreen Park Athletes to Receive Booster Scholarship Money

Bailey Nolan, Jesse McLain, Neil Steen and Tori Senerchia each will receive $500 scholarships from the Evergreen Park High School booster club during an honors night ceremony on May 14.

Members of the Evergreen Park High School athletic boosters organization will present each of the four a $500 scholarship on the school’s honors night Monday, May 14. The booster scholarships are presented annually to student/athletes who have shown commitment to both their teams and the overall success of Evergreen Park athletics.

Steen, a football and track athlete, is ranked No. 1 in a class of about 225 seniors. He was featured in an article by the Sun-Times New Group’s Cheryl Dangel Bartolini last fall for his community service work. He spent his summer keeping up the grounds at the Ronald McDonald House.

Nolan (volleyball), McLain (wrestling) and Senerchia (girls bowling/softball) also have helped raise the standard of excellence during their playing days with the Mustangs.
