On the Agenda: May 11 District 124 Board Meeting

District 124 will hold its regular Board of Education meeting Wednesday and will discuss a number of topics. See what's on the agenda before you go.

Evergreen Park Elementary School District 124 will hold the next regular meeting of the Board of Education on May 11, at 7:00 p.m. at , 9400 S. Sawyer Ave. Click the document to see what's on the agenda.

On the Agenda:

  • The board will highlight the Newbery Bowl and the Declamation Team.
  • District 124 Board of Education will hear staff reports from Superintendent Diane Cody involving a FOIA Request, the CJH Chorus and the upcoming May 20 Coffee and Conversations with Dr. Cody.
  • Board members will hear a staff report update from the Buildings and Grounds department on Summer Work and a Security Grant.
  • The school board will take action on the consent agenda.
  • During the closed session, the board will discuss "the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the district or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity."

Members of the audience are invited to speak during the public comments section of the meeting. The board asks that those wishing to speak to fill out an information card and give it to Jan Stanton, the Superintendent's secretary before the public comments section. The Board of Education also asks speakers to limit their comments to three minutes.
