On the Agenda: March 16 District 124 Board Meeting

District 124 will hold its regular Board of Education meeting Wednesday and will discuss a number of topics.

Evergreen Park Elementary School District 124 will hold the next regular meeting of the Board of Education on March. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose room.

On the Agenda:

  • The board will hear staff reports from the Business Department on the budget impact on the 92-93% collection of taxes
  • Superintendent Diane Cody will report on staffing needs, calendar revisions and an organizational meeting among other things.
  • The board will hear student and staff highlights.
  • The board will take action on the consent agenda.
  • During the closed session, the board will discuss "the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the district or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity."

Members of the audience are invited to speak during the public comments section of the meeting. The board asks that those wishing to speak complete an information card (found by the sign-in sheet) and turn in to Jan Stanton, Superintendent’s secretary. Speakers are also asked to limit their comments to three minutes.
