On the Agenda: April 28 District 231 Board Meeting

District 231 will hold it's regular meeting of the Board of Education this evening. There will be a Board reorganization among other things covered.

is holding its regular meeting of the Board of Education this evening. Here are a few items that will be discussed.

On the Agenda:

  • The District 231 Board of Education will reorganize itself, assigning offices for the coming term.
  • Facilities will update the board on Summer 2011 work among other items.
  • The business department will give the monthly financial report, a five-year financial forecast, and discuss the Taxing District Debt Disclosure Ordinance.
  • Principal William Sanderson will cover Achievements, the Social Studies Division Chair Report and the Summer Technology Plan in his report.
  • Superintendent M. Elizabeth Hart will report on the abatement of 2010-2011 Emergency Days, the amended 2011-2012 school calendar, FOIA requests, a library grant Chamber Casino Night and other items.
  • The board will take action on the consent agenda.
