Marist Sophomore Geometry Team Finishes 1st in State Competition
Marist's Sophomore Geometry team finished first in the state competition. Congratulations students!
For the second year in a row, Mathematics students have a unique claim to faim: Geometry Champions!
On Saturday, May 5, 2012, the Marist Geometry team finished first place in the annual Illinois State Math Finals at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. This was the second year in a row that the team won the honor.

Out of the 167 participants in the competition, highlights include James Costin finishing in 2nd place and Anna Scheiber placing in 3rd place.

- Freshman/Sophomore 8 person – 6th in State
- Freshman/Sophomore Relay – 4th in State
