Evergreen Park Students Attempt to Help Set a World Record for Jumping Jacks

Evergreen Park High School students are helping set a world record for the most jumping jacks performed in a 24-hour period.

 students are participating in a nationwide effort to set a record for jumping jacks and help get kids healthy, according to WFLD FOX Chicago News.

As a part of the White House Let's Move initiative, the Let's Jump! world record attempt began Tuesday with National Geographic and First Lady Michelle Obama, who are hoping to have more than 20,425 people perform jumping jacks for one minute at a time, during a 24-hour period.
