D124 Holds Kindergarten Registration Starting Feb. 26

Parents can register their children for kindergarten from Feb. 26-28. Late registrations and families requiring interpreters start on March 1.

Evergreen Park Dist. 124 will hold kindergarten registration for its four elementary schools on Feb. 26 through Feb. 28.

Parents can register their kindergartners for the 2013-14 school year at in the Multi-Purpose Room (door 5E) from 1 to 7 p.m.

If you are unable to register your child during the registration period, contact Mary MacDonald at 708-423-0950, ext. 2145, to set up an appointment beginning March 1. Late registrations will take place in the Administrative Office located inside Central Junior High School.

Families requiring an interpreter should contact Maria Albarran at ext. 2503, after March 1.

Late registration appointments will be taken between the hours of 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Children must turn five years old before Sept. 1.

To expedite registration, parents should complete the kindergarten registration packets available at Southeast, Southwest, Northeast and Northwest Elementary Schools.

Parents must bring their child’s original birth certificate and proof of residency. See the English and Spanish fliers included at the right.

The Board of Education encourages parents to register their children as early as possible to help the District better plan for the 2013-2014 school year.
