Brother Rice’s Dan Lyons made leaping interception of a pass off the shoulder of a teammate in the second quarter to get the fans riled up, but Lyons' big play was not enough to carry the day for the Crusaders.

Brother Rice dropped a 20-13 decision to Loyola on Friday night in Catholic League Blue football.

With seconds to spare, Brian Kane put the Crusaders on the board with a 35-yard field goal to end the first half. But Brother Rice trailed 10-3.
