Awards for Marist High School Graduates
It was a night of awards, diplomas and recognition. 10 graduates in all were honored during Marist High School's commencement ceremony.
“Marist has given each one of us specific gifts to bring to our futures,” said valedictorian Kaitlin Schuler. “We need to take a step and find the courage to use these gifts to give our dreams life.”
This school year, seniors raised roughly $26 million in college scholarships – the highest amount ever distributed to a . Ninety-eight percent of them will attend colleges across the state and country, the armed services and trade school.
Schuler, who also received a medal for excellence in English, was one 10 students awarded that night, while Jennifer Corcoran claimed salutatorian for her class.
