On the Agenda: May 16 Village Board Meeting

The Mayor and the Village Board of Trustees will discuss making this week 'Police Week in Evergreen Park,' among other topics.

On the Agenda:

  • The board is expected to vote on Ordinace 6-2011, which adds section 5-115, a penalty for failure to obtain a permit, to chapter five of the building and building regulations of the Evergreen Park Municipal Code.
  • The village board is expected to proclaim May 15-21 Police Week in Evergreen Park.
  • Trustees will discuss a request from Police Chief Michael Saunders to approve Jerone Thadison's participation in the Police Department's College Student Internship Program.
  • Evergreen Park Trustees will vote on a request from Most Holy Redeemer Parish to have a Spring Carnival June 15-June 19 and a liquor license for the event.
  • The Village of Evergreen Park Board of Trustees will hear committee reports and reports on bid openings, bid lettings and approved payments.

Members of the audience are invited to speak during the open public forum. The board asks speakers to limit comments to three minutes.
