On the Agenda: March 7 Village Board Meeting

The Mayor and the Village Board of Trustees will talk about sewage disposal and making April 'Brain Awareness Month,' among other topics.

On the Agenda:

  • The board is expected to vote on Ordinace 3-2011, which amends a chapter that allows extraneous flows from water, sewers and sewage disposal to enter into the sanitary sewer system.
  • The village board will discuss a request to proclaim the month of March 31 to April 30 as "Brain Awareness Month."
  • The village board will vote on a request from the Evergreen Park Girls Softball League for a parade on April 16.
  • The board will vote on a request from to hold its second Annual Irish Bike Parade to support the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
  • The Village of Evergreen Park Board of Trustees will hear committee reports and reports on bid openings, bid lettings and approved payments.

Members of the audience are invited to speak during the open public forum. The board asks speakers to limit comments to three minutes.
