On the Agenda: Feb. 7 Village Board Meeting

The board will rule on a grant application for $590,000 for the Senior Center project, among other items.

On the Agenda:

  • The board is expected to take action on Resolution 5-2011 which will confirm the t in the application for CBG disaster recovery funding under the public infrastructure program meets the national objective under the Cook County Development Block Grant Program, CDBG program, "of meeting a community development need having a particular urgency."
  • The board will vote on Resolution 6-2011, which approves a grant application for the 2011 CDBG Program for program year 2011 for $590,000 for the village Senior Center project.
  • Two requests will be discussed and ruled on by the board. One request is from the Senior Citizen Council of Evergreen Park for permission to use and the ice rink area on May 7 for a garage sale called "Memories to Go." The second request comes from the Evergreen Park Athletic Association to use Norris Field for the 2011 baseball season.

Members of the audience are invited to speak during the open public forum. The board says to limit comments to three minutes.
