Mayor to Appoint Committees and Commissions: On the Agenda
At Monday's Village Board Meeting, Mayor James Sexton is expected to appoint heads of committees and commissions for the 2012-2013 session.
The Board of Trustees and Mayor James Sexton will hold the next village board meeting this evening. The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. and will be in Council Chambers of See what's on the agenda before you go.
On the Agenda:
- Mayor James Sexton will appoint committee and commission heads for 2012-2013 session. This will include recommendations for part-time and auxiliary police.
- Evergreen Park trustees will vote on an ordinance approving the Illinois Public Works Mutual Aid Network Agreement.
- The board will hear reports from the Village collector, Water collector, engineer and attorney.
- Trustees will hear requests from Public Works Director William Lorenz, Most Holy Redeemer Parish and Ray Richter, president of the Evergreen Park's Girl's Softball League.
- The board will take action on business regulation certificates.
Members of the audience are invited to speak during the open public forum. The board says to limit comments to three minutes.
