Street Dedication for Army Spec. Jared Stanker

On Saturday October 22 at 8 a.m. The Village of Evergreen Park will dedicate the street at 96th and Homan Avenue by Klein (Circle) Park in memory of Spc. Jared Stanker resident of Evergreen Park.

Army SPC. Stanker, 22, died October 27 2009, after enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device, He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, out of Fort Lewis, Washington.
