Puppy Taken From Car, Woman Pleads for Safe Return
Katie Guerguinova, 21, of Hickory Hills said someone stole her four-month-old pit bull puppy out of her car while she was in Evergreen Park on business.
It has been a week.
On Aug. 1, Katie Guerguinova, 21, of Hickory Hills was visiting a law firm in Evergreen Park on 95th Street off of Pulaski Road and left her four-month-old pit bull, Saya, in the car for a few minutes. The window was cracked just a bit to give the dog some air.
But when Guerguinova came back to the car, the puppy with the white patch on her back that "kind of looks like Florida" .

Guerguinova told Patch that Saya is battling worms and needs two more treatments to be completely rid of the parasite. Guerguinova is concerned the dog will get sick.
Guerguinova and her boyfriend filed a police report. They are certain the dog couldn't have run away.

"She was four months old," Guerguinova said. "There's no way she could have gotten out of the window [on her own]."
Saya is very friendly and will come when you call her name, Guerguinova said. She is pleading for anyone with any information to call her at (310) 601-6602.
So far, there have been no calls about Saya.
"If there is anyone out there with any information, please contact us," Guerguinova urged. "I'll pay whatever price to get her back, I miss her so much."
