Trespassing, Damage to Property and Theft: Police Blotter
Evergreen Park police reports, April 14 - 15.
MONDAY, APRIL 15
Trespassing
Allen L. McKinzie, 20, of the 8100 block of Sacramento in Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass to property. He was begging for money outside of Walgreens, 8700 S. Kedzie, and after being asked to leave entered the store after he was told he could not, police said.
Carvings
Marquise L. Gates, 24, of the 2600 block of Marigold Drive in Saulk Village, was charged with criminal defacement of property. He was caught carving letters into the cement pillars outside of Little Company of Mary Hospital, police said.

Retail Theft
Rodney K. Carson, 41, of the 1100 block of Aberdeen in Chicago, was charged with retail theft and criminal damage to property. He took three cell phones from Walmart valued at $239.64, police said. During the incident he damaged the store's security camera system, according to the report.

Retail Theft
Theresa B. Rogers, 27, of Bakersfield, Calif. was charged with retail theft. She tried to leave Walmart with a cart of various items totalling $153.70, police said.
