112 Grams of Pot, Felony Theft and Stolen Watches: Police Blotter

THURSDAY, NOV. 15

Felony Retail Theft

Reginald Hopkins, 47, of Chicago was charged with felony retail theft and obstructing identification. At a retail store in the 2500 block of 95th Street he was observed removing watches from a display case and placing them in a plastic bag, police said. The alarm went off as he attempted to leave the store, police said. The total value of the 10 watches he took was $679.90, according to the report.

Not That Michael Jordan

Michael A. Jordan, 21, of Justice, was charged with felony delivery of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. A drug investigation in Evergreen Park led to a search warrant being executed at his Justice home, police said. Inside they found 112.3 grams of cannabis, a pipe, grinder, electronic scale and various other drug paraphernalia, police said.

Employee Theft

Ronda Clarby, 31, of Chicago, was charged with felony theft. Between Aug. 1 and Nov. 4 she is believed to have stolen $1,311 from her employer, Simply Fashions, 9500 S. Western Ave., police said. Clarby keyed in 27 false returns into her register over three months, police said.
