Thief Tries to Rip Off Edible Arrangements: Blotter

Fruit Bandit

Dawan P. Lacey, 25, of the 3900 block of West 83rd Place, Chicago, was charged with theft, according to an Evergreen Park police report. She is accused of stealing two food trays worth $150 from Edible Arrangements, 8732 S. Kedzie Ave. Police said the trays were ordered through the Internet and Lacey used someone else’s credit card to make the purchase.

Michaels Theft

Kortney E. Skelly, 28, of the 10700 block of South Campbell, Chicago, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. He is accused of taking pens, a clock and scissors worth $83.96 from Michaels, 9140 S. Western Ave.
