Stolen U-Haul Truck Lands 2 in Trouble: Blotter

THURSDAY, MAY 2

Stolen U-Haul Truck

Tenita Williams, 37, 152 block of South Fifth Avenue, Phoneix, AZ, was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle, driving without insurance and not wearing a seatbelt, according to a report. Police checked a U-Haul truck from Arizona and found it had been reported stolen. Robert Thomas, 49, of the 8700 block of South Laflin Street, Chicago, also was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle.

Retail Theft Charge

Melvin Holloway, 37, of the 5100 block of West Bloomingdale, Chicago, was charged with felony retail theft, according to a report. He is accused of taking about $233.58 worth of medicine from Wal-Mart, 2500 W. 95th St.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 1

Wal-Mart Theft

Jacuquarin Satterwhite, 19, of the 1200 block of West 71st Place, Chicago, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft. He is accused of taking a backpack and a can of Freon, worth a total of about $43.85, from Wal-Mart, 2500 W. 95th St.
