Security Guard Elbowed in Hospital Squabble

Two men are accused of causing trouble inside Little Company of Mary on Halloween.

A Chicago man is accused of yelling profanities and hitting a security guard during an argument at an Evergreen Park hospital.

Robert L. Johnson, 43, of the 7900 block of South Kedzie, was charged with battery and disorderly conduct, according to Evergreen Park police.

Johnson fought with another visitor at about 7:47 p.m. on Oct. 31 at Little Company of Mary, 2800 W. 95th St., police said. That visitor, Lamar R. Carey, 32, of the 14400 block of South Dearborn, Riverdale, also was charged with disorderly conduct.

The two men argued and yelled profanities, causing a disturbance on the fifth floor of the building, police said. A security guard tried to break up the fight and was elbowed in the stomach by Johnson.
