Retail Theft Round-Up: Police Blotter

Evergreen Park police reports, Feb. 12-13.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 13

Lester Wilkerson, 60, of Chicago was charged with felony retail theft. He took batteries valued at $65.82 from Walmart, police said. He had a previous conviction for theft that increased the offense to a felony, police said.

Willie A. Hughes, 45, of Chicago was charged with retail theft after taking seven sticks of deodorant from Pete's Fresh Market.

TUESDAY, FEB. 12

Michael Mitchell, 25, of Chicago was charged with retail theft. He was captured on video at Walmart taking five items valued at $55.30 and then returning those same items for a refund, police said.

Victor B. Shorters, 22, of Chicago was charged with retail theft after taking $216 worth of clothing from Carson's without paying, police said. 

Mikiel R. Andersin, 20, of Chicago was charged with retail theft after taking $76.73 of clothing from Carson's without paying, police said.
