Pregnant Woman, 2 Others Shot on Dan Ryan Expressway
A pregnant woman and two others were shot when a car pulled up next to their broken down vehicle on the Dan Ryan Expressway.
Three people were shot while sitting inside of a broken down SUV on an exit ramp of the Dan Ryan Expressway early Saturday morning, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The shooting occurred on the 71st Street southbound exit ramp as the vehicle waited for help. According to police, a black Dodge Charger drove up next to the broken down SUV and began shooting, hitting three of the four occupants multiple times.
One of those shot was a 24-year-old pregnant woman.
The conditions of the victims has stabilized, according to the report.
